Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?
The entity responsible for the processing of personal data is ABEI ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE, S.L. (hereinafter, ‘ABEI’), with registered office at Calle Monte Esquinza 24, 5o izq., Madrid and tax identification number B-87307278.
How do we process your personal data?
The personal data provided by Users of this website may be processed by ABEI for the following purposes, depending on the type of data and the interactions that the User enters into with ABEI through the website. In addition, the types of data, their origin, the third parties to whom the personal data may be communicated, the legal basis ABEI has for carrying out the processing, as well as the periods for which your personal data will be kept are set out below.
- Maintaining contact with the User and handling the User’s queries and requests
- Description of processing. When the User submits a query through the form available at https://abeienergy.com/contacto/ or any of the other means provided, we will process the User’s personal data in order to maintain contact between ABEI and the User, as well as to manage the queries submitted by the User.
- Data processed for this purpose. Identification and contact data, as well as professional location data.
- Origin of the data. From the User.
- Legitimising basis. The consent of the User when voluntarily transferring the query to ABEI.
- Conservation period. The period of time necessary to process the query and, subsequently, during the applicable limitation periods, taking into account the substance of the query.
- Management of staffing at ABEI
- Description of processing. The data provided when the User registers for any ABEI offer (for example, those published on different employment platforms) or sends his/her CV through any of the means made available are processed by ABEI for the purpose of managing the User’s application, managing the selection process for vacancies and deciding whether to join ABEI.
- Data processed for this purpose. Identification and contact data, job details, academic and professional data, personal and social characteristics.
- Origin of the data. Provided by the User directly or through any employment platform where ABEI vacancies are published.
- Legitimising basis. The consent of the User when voluntarily submitting his/her CV or registering for any of the vacancies published by ABEI, as well as the need for the execution of pre-contractual measures in the context of an eventual employment relationship between the User and ABEI.
- Retention period. One year from the end of the selection process or transfer of the CV.
In addition, in order to carry out the purposes of the processing described above, personal data may be transferred to various service providers who will process your personal data under our responsibility and on our behalf. In such cases, we inform you that we ensure that the data processing carried out by the provider complies with the applicable regulations and the conditions set out in this document. The categories of recipients in this case are hosting and technology service providers.
In some cases, the use of these service providers, or the communication of data to one of the recipients, involves the international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. If this situation arises, ABEI has ensured that such international transfer is carried out in accordance with one of the safeguards set out in the applicable regulations (European Commission adequacy decision, signature of standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules) and assessed the risk prior to the execution of the international transfer.
What personal data do you need to provide us with in each case and what do you need to guarantee?
When personal data is collected through a form made available through our website, the user must provide at least the data indicated as compulsory on the form in question. If at least such data, considered necessary, is not provided, ABEI will not be able to process the enquiry made by the user.
If you provide personal data directly through the website, you guarantee that the data you provide are true, accurate, complete and up to date, and you shall be liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss that may arise as a result of failure to comply with this obligation. In the event that the User provides data belonging to a third party, he/she guarantees that he/she has informed said third party of all the aspects contained in this Privacy Policy and obtained his/her authorisation to provide us with his/her data for the purpose of the processing in question. All of this, prior to the provision of data by a third party through our website.
What measures do we take to protect your personal data?
In response to ABEI’s concern to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your data, we have adopted the security levels required for the protection of personal data and have installed the technical means available to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of personal data provided through this website. In any case, you should bear in mind that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.
What are your rights over your personal data?
ABEI informs you that you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access to your personal data. You have the right to access your personal data to find out what data we are processing concerning you.
- Request rectification or deletion of your personal data. In certain circumstances, you have the right to rectify personal data which you consider inaccurate and which concern you, and which are processed by ABEI, as well as the right to request the deletion of your data when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
- Request the restriction of the processing of your data. In certain circumstances, you have the right to ask us to limit the processing of your data, in which case we inform you that we will only keep the data for which you have requested limitation of processing for the exercise or defence of claims.
- To the portability of your data. In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have it transferred by ABEI to another data controller.
- Object to the processing of your data. In certain circumstances and for reasons relating to your particular situation, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, in which case we will stop processing your data unless we have to continue to do so for compelling legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defence of any claims.
We also remind you that you have the right to object to the processing of your data for advertising or promotional purposes, as well as to withdraw any consent you may have given for the processing of your data, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
ABEI informs you that you may exercise these rights over your personal data in any of the following ways:

In both cases, proof of the identity of the person exercising their rights or, where appropriate, of the representative, will be required by sending a copy of their DNI, NIE, Passport or equivalent document, on both sides.
ABEI will provide the information associated with the right exercised within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request. This period may be extended by a further two months, if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests.
ABEI also informs you that you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency – www.aepd.es).
